The biggest thing I learned in my first dive in a drysuit today:

If you don't zip the zipper ALL THE WAY to the end, it really isn't a drysuit after all.

Brrrrrrr........

YIKES!!! I don't have a drysuit, but I can only imagine!

So, does this mean that you're an honorary member of the polar bear club? :D

Thet would have to be even colder than a wetsuit dive.

Were you at ABWA? If so, What are the temps running now?

The temp up at the surface was around 69. Temp at 70' was 63. We did two dives on Saturday and the average temp my computer kicked out was 66.7 on the first dive and 66.5 on the second. The diving really wasn't as bad as the SI's. It was windy and rainy most of the day.

Ouch, I feel for ya. Although, I was nice and cold.. not freezing. Time to find thicker undies.

Unzipped drysuit zippers tend to make for very brief dives! (BTDT)

Not necessary to use thicker undies. Just do like I did and fill that sucker up with as much air as it will hold. Just like the Michelin man. Warm, no squeeze, but an extremely "exciting and challenging" ascent..........:shocked2:
