With respect, Ari, I think you paid that for a wrist-mount, not a console with SPG and compass. As I said, that's what I'm looking for.

spring the extra cash and get a COBRA from http://www.diveinn.com for $399 it ads air integration and you will never need another computer.

Hello bylinepjw and welcome to the board.

I have a couple of Oceanic computers and are happy with them. They are easy to use, easy to read at a quick glance and the batteries are easy to find and replace. I am impressed with their customer service as well, to make a long story short, I had my old Data 100 flood after several years of service. It was waaaay out of warrenty but Oceanic replaced it free of charge with a new one and gave me no hassle at all. I find it refreshing to find a company that supports it products and customers.

I am on my second computer which is a suunto Stinger. I also bought one for my wife at the same time. I had a small sport computer but it was hard to read and not user friendly. I debated for a long time over an air integrated or wrist mount computer and opted for the latter. I have been diving several times with it and so far I really like it. I help teach teen scuba so some of it's features come in really handy when trying to keep students in check. The stinger is fairly expensive depending on where you buy it. Should you decide on a wrist mount computer I would advise you to get a second strap (sorry I forget the brand) that is actually 2 straps in one. Kind of a safety thing. If you spend that kind of money on something you don't want to loose it.

*Waterborne* is the name of the strap....
I re-made mine with extra long strap material to go around my drysuit sleeve.
