just bought a pair of x-l jet fins, could any1 tell me how to work out if these are the right size, they are not filling the foot pocket fully but i can get the straps over no problem

uhh - no where near all the answers, but a few sizing issues may be helped here: http://www.kidspot.org/personal/scuba
the straps are very adjustable, if your foot fits in the foot pocket (left/right and up/down - and your foot goes all the way in up to the middle of your arch) then it should be about right.

Is there a lot of sideways play and how do the feel in the water. Do they move around a lot while finning.
