Recently I went thru a process of "finding my next dive destination". I'm
wondering what other people do or what factors do you consider in order to choose your next dive destination:
- You search for deals on air and/or hotel
- You go thru web sites of dive oriented travel sites/agencies
- You go to scuba conferences
- You check scuba magazines
- You browse thru scubaboard or other similar sites
- You talk to your buddies
- You check on the dive travel schedule of your dive club or other dive clubs
- You look for something you haven't done before: wreck of a WWII ship, shark tooth hunting, etc.
- You look for a place where you can see something you haven't seen: whale sharks, turtles, dolphins, etc.
- You say to yourself "that's a nice place (after reading a trip report), I want to go there"
- You keep a list of places you want to go and have an alert for air/hotel deals
