Saw it this weekend too...absolutely a great movie. Yes, the part about the dangling console was annoying, but other than the obvious strokery it is a good movie ;) .

You guys will drag GUE/DIR into absolutely anything, won't you?

Sheesh!!!

Marlin was lucky...if those divers had been more streamlined and had better trim they would have caught him too and there would have been no movie!

In all seriousness, they did an awesome job with the reef scenes and the mask with neoprene slapstrap was great! They even got the sinking part right...you can tell they did their homework..

I wonder what depth those divers were at....I didnt see anyone do a safety stop. Also, wasnt the guy who was taking pictures left behind. I could of swore the dentist got on the boat and then it took off, but the photographer was left behind.

I did think it was a good movie, but Pixar was a tad morbid with beginning scene. We dont know that Marlin's wife and eggs died in the attack, but it was certainly implied. You would of thought they could have made up something a little less morbid to explain the single overprotective father thing. But no, lets blame the poor barracuda. Damn stereotyping I tell you. The barracuda I am familar with are very docile and love to be videotaped. :)

But the dangling SPG thing is about par for the course isnt it? Lets not kid ourselves.....in fact, I am going to dig up some video right now from my Cozumel trip...I think there is something in there to make fun of.

I am going on tuesday... I had to barrow some kids to see it. My mom wanted to take them tonight but everyone in the family told her she couldn't cause I've been saying for months that as soon as it comes out I am taking them.

Pixar is an amazing company, all their movies are breakthroughs, this one was no exception.

but man, divers are not the bad guys, geez. heh. and my aquarium is not a prison! :-)

and I would've loved to see what they would make a moray look like.

Yeah finding, Bingo, I mean Fabio, I mean Nemo :D was great.

I was shocked at the opening scene. I wasn't sure I even wanted to keep watching but I am glad I did.

I laughed alot. I agree that the characters were perfectly cast. I was disapointed that the divers didn't get a better script but it was about Nemo now wasn't it?

I picked up on the dangly too. I couldn't help but check it out. The detail was great and you could tell they were totally recreational, I am just glad I am in the water and what's skill, divers? Hahaha.

I am pretty sure that photographer magically appeared in the board when they drove off. Loved that mask strap - that has prevented a perm. bald spot in the back of my head that's for sure; but does anyone really put their name and address on it? What about those neon colors. : )

I loved the way they captured the rays of sunlight reflecting in the water beneath the surface. I just love that (if you haven't already figured that out from my dive stories).

It is definately on my "to own" list. Yes, I have cartoons in my DVD library. Do you think there will be a sequal? I do. :D

Jep, you crack me up. Your kidaphobia makes me laugh every time you post about it. ;)

I dont have a kidaphobia......its really only when I am around them to I have a problem with them.

Seriously, the best things about kids is making em...and sometimes I think we got the short end of the stick when it comes to that. Why does something so fun have to possibly lead to that....why cant it be something that is dreaded. Maybe then the world population would be about half, the reefs would be in better condition, pollution would be down, traffic would be down, global warming would be down, the ice caps would have a greater mass, ugh..

Soo ummmm, I crack you up uhhh? Does seajay know about this..hehehehe

:out:

Oh, kids are great! You just have to know how to deal with them. :)
