I cannot relate to the online romances. I need to feel the person's physical energy in the same room. It would be too random for me.

It is great to know people from all over the world though, and I think you become very close.

Yes Catherine. I think someone did post a thread on that once.

Anyone know their Nudibranchs? I found three on my dive - no I don't have pics yet. Anyway, I can't identify them. They were dark purple/blue with orange stripes.

So, I can only say what they looked like, for now. The closest I have found are gold line sea-godesses but mine had no white on them.

I've seen your seal porn Catherine and it's pretty tame. I just returned fom the Philippines and met a whole bunch of people from SB. I actually planned the trip with dlndavid and Puff and his wife, never meeting before the trip. We had a terrific time and I'm going back to meet Mike and the rest of the PPD in May. I would probably never have gone to the Philippines if it wasn't for the PPD here and missed out on one of my best dive experiences ever.
I met Mike and took his photo course in December in Yap, very good teacher by the way, and Catherine and I are going to Bali for another Mike course in October. Love on SB? As has been said, it's pretty tough to have a long distance romance and actually fall in love without meeting someone in person but at least you can tell if they are worth meeting at all. I agree with Catherine on this, I need to have physical presence to really fall in love. Although I have fallen in love with Asian women again. Dr. Bill, are you listening?

I don't know about love, but I have had been able to make some very close and wonderful friendships here on the board.
