My new BP/W consists of 30 Lb Oxycheq Mach V wing, Transplate harness and DR SS Plate. No STA. 3 MM wetsuit, I weigh 175 solid pounds. I have always used 12 Lbs of weight with a standard BC. Will be in Curacao. Any suggestions for weight (if any) to start with.

I would recommend 10 lbs, but you could be down to 7 lbs.

I found a 10 pound difference between my DSS medium plate and my Zeagle. That's based upon a formal weight check at 15 ft. with 500 psi in my normal tank and no air my wing.

I figure that it was 5 pounds of negative plate and the loss of 5 pounds of positive Zeagle BCD.

YMMV.

In wing, hog harness, ss plate, 3 mm, salt, I use 11 lbs. You are probably pretty close with 12 lbs. Do your check at 10' with 500 psi.
