I started to certify in 1967. Got through the classes and pool training and then went in the Marine Corps. Got married when I got out and never went back to get certified. I am back to that point again and will be going on my ocean dives this week end.

We are heading to Cancun and Cozumel for 17 days this month and am looking forward to diving there. My wife snorkels ands says she is too old to dive. I am hoping to get her underwater during this vacation and get her started on certification.

I'm interested to hear what has changed since '67.

And are congratulations now in order?

Be gentle with your wife, it needs to be something she wants to do. I hope she goes for it hook, line & sinker!
