Thanks to Jim Lapenta I am now fully outfitted for diving. Jim gave great advice, great service and great prices. I can't wait to get the new toys wet.

congratulations!

I have never met Jim, but based on ScubaBoard and Facebook posts, I think you are in good hands

Yep, and told him I'd be happy to come down to WVa to get in the water with him if he can arrange the boat and our schedules mesh. He's doing a refresher at the local community college and taking the right approach to this. I'm tied up this weekend and next but after that we'll see if we can work something out. No charge of course.

I am cautious by nature, so I want to do it right not end my diving fun with an accident due to ego and attitude. By the way, how did you set up the BP/W to fit so well? Uncanny.

where are you going to do your local diving?

I have some friends down in seneca rocks that go to Mt Storm to play around.

Looks like it is less than an hour from Old Fields.

Mt. Storm is very close to Old Fields. I used to play there a lot but they have stopped allowing divers unless they dive from a boat. Not sure how that makes it more safe.

Less people are able to dive if they must be on a boat?

Lowering the risk of lawsuits?

The powers that be said the shore entry wasn't safe. I think they just didn't want to be popular with the dive crowd. If they were thinking they would buy a compressor sell some small items and have a snack stand.

He said the powers that be, at a power plant....
