When I started all I could think about was what more I needed to get to feed my new gear cravings.
Now I have piles of gear, some of it I bought and used a few times, and most of it was given to me.
I have plastic bins full of crap, a whole gorilla rack crammed with more crap, and one whole closet in a spare bedroom packed with still more crap including all my wetsuits and muliple reg sets all complete. The other end of the closet is dedicated to all my vintage gear.
One wall in the garage has nothing but spear guns, fins, game bags, different tank bands, plates, float lines, tubes, ab boards, ab irons etc, all hanging on large nails that are on 2x4's that are mounted on the wall. I have a whole milk crate filled with weightbelts and loose weights.
I have enough gear to set up a rental department and or set up several divers from the ground up.
I haven't even gotten to the tanks!

And somehow I still think I need more.

As a new diver in the 90s I really liked the Seatec Manta BC that the California chain Sport Chalet rented.

The Seatec Manta is a great BC, I had one and sold it because it no longer fit me. They still sell them but good luck finding a dealer.

No, that's AFTER I've parted with all kinds of stuff!
I've ebay'd a lot of stuff already.
And I have way more to go.
I'm trying to get it down to a few sets, the primary set and a backup set, but people keep giving me stuff and I can't say no.
I also run a steel 72 rescue center for poor, lost, abandoned steel 72's and I give them a new life.

I have already been looking at BP/W style. But hopefully this will last for more than a few dives lol. But right now I need to try finding a new pair of fins. I spent all weekend working with my bouyancy and trim with the new BC. And i'm foot heavy with the fins I use. I only get good trim with weights on my head lol

Try sticking your feet up while hovering.
(bend your knees up) that worked for me

you might try moving the cylinder up a little higher. Since the valve is negative, it may help balance out the negative fins. This of course is assuming that the valve isn't already hitting you in the back of the head while diving :)

I tried both picking my feet up and moving my tank up. I have decent trim when it hits me in the back of the head lol needless to say that aint gonna work. I'm gonna try my dads fins since he sinks head first. Maybe I can correct this with fins. I checked my bc for pockets around the top to add weights, but dont have any.

Do you use the trim weights on the tank ?

Zeagle makes a set of trim pockets for your shoulder straps for exactly this purpose.
