I've got a pair of used Beuchat X-Jet fins. I can't find any non-ad literature on them and nobody seems to know of them. I was wondering if anyone has any info on these flippers, did a Google search and only came up with a Cochran dive ad telling how great they were. All the other pages were in French. *sigh*

Anyone ever heard of these? They push me through the water at a pretty pace (I also am 6'5" 260lbs.). I'd just like to know more about their history, etc.

Can't help you with the fins, as I've never heard of them.. However if you find a french language page, google can usually translate it to english or simply go to any free web translation service. Here are a few links to get you started..
Just copy&past the article into the translate window and pick your language.
