They are less that 3 miles apart

$40 daily Blue Grotto - $8.00 air / $15.00 Nitrox
$38 daily Devil's Den - $8.00 air / go to Blue Grotto to get your Nitrox fills

Between the two I prefer Blue Grotto. Paradise Springs is another location I would check out in the area.

Right,
I'm not trying to dive either of them just get fills along a route (which has little along the way). See my post preceding yours for my reasons.

Last I checked, kind of expensive to get fills there. Your best bet would be Cave Country dive shop in High Springs or Byrds in Crystal River... When are you coming over for your trip? Where are you staying? are you springs diving, cavern diving or cave diving? If your two dive sites are Manatee Springs and Rainbow River, there is a guy in Old Town (just north of Chiefland) Don't forget about Fanning Springs if you are just diving springs. Tim
Fanning Springs is only about 18 feet deep, and in the warm months packed with people. There used to be a dive shop right outside the spring entrance. But I don't recall seeing it recently. Ginnie Springs does $4 fills and you don't have to pay the entry fee. There is a dive shop in Crystal River. There has been a serious shake out of dive shops in this area. Lloyd Bailey's is the only shop left open in Gainesville out of 3 or 4 that were there for example.

If all you want is air fills, they will fill you at the Grotto. You can also check out the grounds etc. Just check in at the main office when you get there.

Hey 002s, do you have the number for blue grotto? I keep getting a straight to voicemail not set up message from the number they have on their contact us page.

No

They just knocked down the old office, moved to a temp office and are building a new larger office/shop. I was there two weekends ago and the fill prices are the what is listed.

Ah okay. That makes sense. Thanks. I just was going to call to verify they'd let me get fills before finding myself driving an extra hour for it.
