Hello,
So filling double with wing on. My steel 100 tanks heat up pretty hot, it wont melt the wing?

If you're filling fast enough to melt the nylon, you're filling WAY too fast.

Its not me, its the diveshop.

Can you touch the tanks without getting burned or blistered? If you can you have no problems, the temp is below 110-120F which is well bellow the melt temp of the BC components.

Even when doing my O2 cleaning and using as hot water as I can, which gets the tank hot enough to be very painful to touch without gloves, the temp is still only about 115-120F.

The VIP sticker glue would fail before damaging the wing.

I can't imagine them getting hot enough to cause a problem. I dive almost exclusively HP and know what a 30 second fill feels like!
