Hi: I have been to both Beqa Lagoon Resort and Lalati. Both are great! Beqa Lagoon Resort takes more people and you usually get a great mix of divers and a few surfers that are fun and interesting to dive with. The food is great and they just added individual plunge pools to the ocean view bures. Lalati is really wonderful and great if you are looking for a romantic experience because it is much smaller. Because of it's smaller size and the fact that it has honeymooners also....you don't tend to get a lot of other divers.....so if you like to meet other divers and enjoy a group, Beqa Lagoon might be a better choice. Kulu is also quite small and their rooms are designed with a lot of room and easy to add a 3rd person to the room. I actually haven't visited Kulu so I can't comment on their food. We have a last minute special for Beqa Lagoon if you are interested you can either email me at: dolphinadventures2004@yahoo.com or call me at: 1-877-846-3483 or 1-530-271-7082. Mary Jane

Hi,

My husband and I are going to fiji next month and haven't finalized any details yet.
Any suggestions?
We're looking at Beqa Resort, Kulu, or Lalati all on Beqa Island. plse let me know if you have been to any and your comments? Also, we like to dive and surf!

Also, we may have an extra week to spend on another island...any suggestions?

Thanks!
J

All,

OK, We decided on the Blue Lagoon cruise for 4/3, then probably 2 places for the diving, and some exploring. Beqa Lagoon for at least part of it, because of their reputation. Their DVD is very nice. For future reference, their web site is horrible, NO photos; get the DVD. For the 2nd resort, I need help.

Garden Island has great diving. But from reading this baord, we could have horrible rains, and we are fair weather people. Also, the resort seems not quite to what we want.

Papagenos sounds also interesting, however, I can't find any reviews on the place. Also, their web site has problems with it's sub-pages, so I can't bring up photos.

Has anyone been to Papagenos ? Photos ?

Diana
