Can I use the port on the bottom as another HP port?

If I am reading your question right, you are asking about the screw in the bottom between the two angled High pressure ports. If so, the answer is absolutely not. While it may look like a HP port, it is actually a larger diameter. That is not a port, but the retainer that is holding in your spring and high pressure seat. If you remove it, your regulator will not work.

Yup, that is the one I am talking about. Tt is not a port and it holds in the HP seat of your reg
