I'm doing a survey about divers travel behaviour and their dive destination requirements. This survey is anonymous and part of my bachelor thesis at the University of Applied Sciences in Osnabrueck, Germany.

If you would please take 7-8 minutes of your time to answer the questions I would be very grateful. I would further appreciate it if you could tell other divers about this survey.

Scuba Diving magazine just showed what their polling came up with, by region.

My copy is at home, so I can't look it up right now. But I think it was Bonaire as #1.

For me:

1) Palau
2) Chuuk
3) Cozumel

For Germany, I think the #1 location would be the Red Sea. But make sure the Egyptians can tell you are Germans and not mistake you for UK or USA.

And Greece has great diving close to Germany as well. Been there done that!

#1. Papau New Guinea (New Britain)-
Bismark Sea....Fathers and Witu's, highlights= best biodiversity, aggressive silvertips, cuttlefish
#2. Australia, Lizard Island and north - highlights= Cod, seeing huntingsharks after dark, whales
Coral Sea.....Osprey and Ribbons
#3. Hurgada, Egypt- highlights= huge humphead wrasse, clownfish, soft coral, eels
Red Sea.....near Sinai peninsula
#4. Cayman Islands, Little Cayman- highlights= manta, dolphin, colorful sponge life, groupers
Caribbean Sea...Jackson's Bight, Bloody Bay
