I wanted to know what tech/wreck books are on your shelves. Do you have a favorite or favorites and why? I am an avid reader so I would welcome some collective insight.

Cheers!

Pretty much anything by Gentile, there are are other authors as well on the subject of wreck/deep diving but he was there practically from the start so you get a pretty interesting history lesson too.The two books I favor are his Technical diving handbook and The Essentials of Deeper Sport Diving by John Lippmann. There's some redundant info between the books and Gentile's is copywritten as a "younger book" so there is more updated info. Beyond taking the advanced courses these are among the better books for explaining the mechanics. Enjoy your dives, Jim

A good one is The Great Lakes Diving Guide--Kohl. The new TDI Advanced Wreck diving training manual is not bad reading. Also though not a book,,Wreck Diving magazine is good.
