Great movies, but scuba? Maybe favorite movies that include the ocean...

I have never seen Into the Blue. have fools gold but haven't watched it yet.

So I have to vote for the Abyss.

Ok, I just watched Fool's Gold and I must say it's a skipper as far as diving sequences are concerned. Not much diving going on and the movie itself is not that great.

Fool's Gold. Just a fun movie to watch when you want to disengage your brain. It's actually grown on me. Even though it is supposed to take place in the Keys, it was mostly shot in Australia, with additional shots in Eleuthera.

The Deep and Into the Blue are the exact same movie. Into the Blue is the remake obviously. I like The Deep better. Into the Blue would have been perfect if Jessica Alba had stepped up to the white t-shirt plate like Jackie B did. Since she didn't they put the blonde shark snack in the feature to sex it up to the same level as its predecessor.

The Abyss is just one great sci-fi/dive movie. It is also a remake, but you won't see it unless you watch the extended version. It won't be obvious until the end sequence and then you'll recognize The Day the Earth Stood Still.

Sphere is in the same sci-fi/dive category as The Abyss with an interesting twist on the reality of our thoughts.

Blue Planet; Seas of Life is an outstanding documentary. You feel like you're on dive after dive while watching.

I'm still waiting patiently for the day Jessica Biel, a scuba diver, makes a dive movie. When that happens I'll be the first one in line........salivating profusely.

I caught the last half of "Into the Blue" on TV a month or so ago and I said the same thing - It is a remake of "The Deep"

Yes - I am for anything that involves Jessica Biel getting wet

Definitely "The Deep". It was out for 5 years before I realized that it was more than 10 minutes long. Actually it headed me toward diving, dreaming of living the life of Teddy Tucker. Somewhere I made a wrong turn..
