Well, I am enjoying your photos! Depending on the kind of camera you have, it’s possible to set it to shoot several photos with differing exposures.

Or you can use Photoshop post-dive. But be warned: once you start playing, you can drive yourself crazy!

July 11, 2020. The City of Houston was a passenger steamship that sank in a storm in 1878. She sits 49 miles offshore of Wrightsville Beach, NC in 95 feet of water.. I have been trying to get to this wreck the last 3-4 years and it always gets blown out. It's a long ways out and they don't make many trips there.

Anyone know what brand of Fins these are on the bottom photo. I have been home-making what I call "Scoop Fins" with that type of blade for decades. Now, it appears that someone is actually manufacturing them.

River diving in the Clackamas River at High Rocks, Gladstone, Oregon last Tuesday (July 7th, 2020).

The last photo shows my home-made "Scoop Fins." They are from a Mares fin, but the foot pocket has distorted and so it is difficult to get them on and off.

Second most recent dive.

This is a male Southern Maori Wrasse, Ophthalmolepis lineolata. I often see them exactly like this looking intently at my mask (or their reflection in it).
