my computer uses divelog+ but it seems people really like subsurface due to its cross platform and free to use. what are some favorite dive softwares people like to use. are the paid ones more polished?

Not a dive app, but I really like logging my dives in Notion, and I use it for everything else in personal and work organization, so it works well. I also like to use ChatGPT to help do on the fly weight calculations or talk about gear recommendations, etc.

How do you organize it in Notion?

You probably know this, but I'd double check anything critical that you get from ChatGPT. I'm a code monkey, and I've seen some strange **** from it when looking for solutions.

sub-surface

runs on my phone, pad and pc. Fairly intuitive, provides all functions I need/want.
I think I'll give subsurface a try. I like that the cloud sync will go between my phone and computer automatically

Notion Database with a template to log new dives, then I upload info and screenshots from computer, and photos from GoPro.

Yeah I also work in tech, it has its place and can definitely help speed up tasks, but I treat everything as if it’s advice from a random person on Reddit, always double check. 😂
