I have pretty solid info that there was a diver fatality in the Similans a few days ago but I have almost no details. Apparenly a woman was found after her husband surfaced without her after being separated underwater.

Perhaps some of the Thailand regulars can confirm or update this.

My condolences, of course.
 
I never heard, anyone please updated.
 
Looks like my info was bad.....a body was recovered near one of the islands in the similans BUT it was NOT a diver and looks like a homicide among immigrant fishermen....so disregard this post....sorry for bad info!
