Heading there this weekend. Anyone been recently that can provide some insight? I'm mainly wondering about temps. Figure max depth 100-115 ft. Given depth I'm thinking drysuit will be comfy but wondering about overnight and daytime surface temps, too.

San Clemente tends to be slightly warm. Last year this time at San Clemente, I was comfortable at 90-ft with my 7mm wetsuit. Temp was around high 50s.

Farnsworth is cooler, tends to be mid- to low-50s depending on how deep you go.

Hoping to hit Farnsworth this weekend as well. Hopefully conditions can stay nice (swell models look to be picking up later in the week, though).

Thanks but anything in the 50s is absolutely drysuit temps!! :D

Rainer...hoping to get there or you are? A few of us are booked on the Sand Dollar for saturday night/sunday.

Diving the back side of Catalina is always weather / sea conditions dependent, so I'm hoping.

I have the Sea Bass chartered and Farnsworth is our target.

The Sand Dollar trip sounds quite nice. We'd actually looked for that combo (SC+Farnsworth), but hadn't seen it on their schedule.

Hopefully we can all make it. :)

Farnsworth is one of my favorite reef dive sites in socal. Have a great trip guys!

Ken, when do you get to leave your little one at home and rejoin us?

We miss you buddy!

Soon I'm hoping. Trying to be the good partner and father pulling my weight so I can get out. Just dropped $400 getting all my regs serviced finally. Looking forward to getting back out. Have fun and be safe!

With the cute kid (and wife) you've got at home I can see your reasoning to stay there! We all hope to see you soon though!

Thanks! Another middle of the night feeding done and hopefully another step closer to getting out of the house to go dive at some point. :)
