Not meaning to rain on anyone's parade, but make sure all on board are aware that Farnsworth is a no-take zone since the designation of the SoCal MPAs:

Permitted/Prohibited Uses: Take of all living marine resources is prohibited except:

  1. The recreational take of pelagic finfish, including Pacific bonito, by hook-and-line or by spearfishing, white seabass by spearfishing, market squid by hand-held dip net, and marlin, tunas and dorado (dolphinfish) (Coryphaena hippurus) by trolling is allowed.
  2. The commercial take of coastal pelagic species by round haul net, and swordfish by harpoon only is allowed.

I`m well aware of the closures that the CALIFORNIA REVENUE AGENCY OF FISHY GAMES has implemented.
