My doctor here in Turkey (where they're not big on explanations) has prescribed me Cerazette (progesterone only) pill to help control heavy bleeding etc...
I've been putting off taking it due to DVT concerns but after reading your information I think I'll give it a go as I'm loosing too many diving days without it - thanks!
 
That was some great information! Now that I am in my 40's and after have a forced hysterectomy about 6 months after my son was born tore me to pieces. Then came the hot flashes - the hot killers I called them. I told my Dr. if I have one more I am going to kill someone (lol) but they finally passed. It took quite a few years, about 7-8 years I would say. But my Dr. told me that there would be no diving for 4-6 months afterwards...sigh.
