We just got back from 2 weeks at Fantasy Island. What a great trip. Diving was spectacular and Dive masters informitive and alert. The food was good and varied. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Management has really brought this experience up since we were there a few years ago. We had no problems except lack of water 1 day while they were doing repairs. This is a divers resort and I can not say enough! We go 3 to 5 dives a day. People are very nice and there is lots to do even if you don't dive. For the price I don't think you can get better. We are going back in Dec.:blinking:

We spent a week there at the end of April. We had the same thoughts as you. All of the people slammin FIBR must have their sights set very high. For the price we paid it was great.
As a side note, they sprayed or fogged every morning around 6:00AM. We had very few issues with the noseeums. Between the wife and I we might have had about 6 bites. All traces were gone by the next day.

Actually, we think two weeks is about right for a trip to Roatan. Just seems too rushed, otherwise.

Heck I'd lean on 5 weeks if I could afford it with my family... Now that's a vacation where you can really disconnect!
