Hi Guys I have just been looking for one of these to buy and came across one at buy.com for US$31 this is about 1/3rd of what I found elsewhere.

I tried to buy one but they dont ship international. Bummer.

This light switches off 1 sec when the flash fires and burns for 30 hours on a set of 4 AA's. Sounded good as a modelling light.

I've been thinking about buying one myself. My only question is how strong is it? Is it good for 2-3 feet or even more? Is it good for a clear day on the Caribbean sea (which is were I dive)? I found a merchant that ships internationally on eBay:

Check it out here

Hope that helps

I purchased one of these a few months ago. I am lousy photographer with a Cannon A570IS. I had a hard time seeing my subjects (usually fish butts) in the LCD (getting old).

The light is very small, but built decently and bright for the small size - those LED's are nice. It helps me a lot, but probably only to about 3' or so. After that it intensity drops off, but at the longer distances I normally have more ambient light. For me it was a good match to my modest camera and skill, well worth the money.

Got excited by Xaveri's suggestion but they want $52 to ship to Aust which makes it the same price I can get one locally.

You Americans have it soooo! easy.

The suggestion from DBH shows that I could use my Ikelite torch with a diffuser and get a good result. Anybody done this and does it produce hot spots?

Any other ideas about focusing lights?

I ship to Oz or about anywhere else that the mail can go. I do insist on Express Mail as it is tracked.

I have several focus lights the 360 Light has been pretty popular at $49.95. The other light I really like is the Big Blue 1x5.

I sell mounts, arms and the like as well.

If you add to your cart, you can do a shipping estimate to see what your costs might be. I'm guessing around $28-38 international express mail for most lights.

I just bought Fantasea 360 and Big Blue as well from Jack, Excelent service. I can recommend him.
I haven't have chance to try for diving, just tested in pool. The 360 is small, well made light, wide beam, okay for short distance but I love the Big Blue; aluminum body, built like a tank, narrow beam, far stronger - indeed you get what you pay.
