My wife, son, and I all got certified this weekend in Monterey ! It was a chilly 50-55 degree water.

Congratulations! Some of the best diving in the world, in my opinion, lies ahead of you. The Monterey water may be cold, but when you have vistas like the one below to look at, it makes it all worth while!

Wow. That's impressive. The pea soup we were in was still cool but nothing like that pic.
 
Picked a good place to get certified. I'd wear a drysuit in that weather, though :wink:. Enjoy diving!!!
