Japan to hold whale hunts despite activist threats - Yahoo! News

The saga will continue - The Japanese whaling fleet fully intends to head to the Southern Ocean again this year despite the global outcry against the yearly hunt as well as the vast successes that the Sea Shepherd society has had against the hunt. Will the Japanese government never learn?!

An Avoidable Tragedy: Shark Incident in Cape Town

Reaction to shark attacks varies depending on the person. In this case, it was very simple - the shark spotters warned all people to stay out of the water and the person ignored those warnings. Great White sharks are among the most endangered in the world. Some estimates have them at only 3500 remaining on the planet. Education, not nets, is the answer.
