I recently acquired a ScubaPro / Faber LP95. It's first hydro was 9/89 with a + rating. Then it had several hydro's without the plus rating by 2 facilities (C541 and B911 ). In 2005 it had a Hydro from SimplexGrinnell (D664) with a + rating. Then in 2011 it was given another hydro from the usual suspects without a + rating.
I'm reading the crown and don't see "REE" stamped anywhere. I see...
2400-89/9017/088 M8303 along with ScubaPro and Faber and the original hydro stamp.
I know 2400 is the service pressure and M8303 is Faber... what is 89/9017/088? Is 088 the REE number?
If the REE isn't found on the tank, can the hydro facility get it in they are so enlightened? The word is that this place (SG) is pretty squared away when it comes to steel tanks.

Boatloads of searching seems to indicate that 89/9017/088 is the year, batch and unit # of the tank ... effectively a serial number. I'm guessing the Hydro guys either have the REE since they have done it before or as I read one person do, email Faber and ask them for it.
