Dear SB Nation, hey just wanted to follow up that we have the Extreme Underwater Ironing Guinness Book world record attempt this Saturday May 1 at our store, we leave the dock at 12:30 pm and head out and meet two other stores and their divers, we need at least 90 to break the record of 85 set by the Brits. It is a wacky fun event, proof that divers will do anything underwater! Call our manager, Sky at 305-451-3020, the price is only $25! for the SB Nation including tanks and weights!!!! but you have to bring an ironing board and iron, you can get them at almost anywhere but Home Depot they are $5. each. We also will give you a free t-shirt to iron underwater with the event on it. Call now we need you for the attempt, can't let those Brits win! See ya soon...Slate

Chug, you are right, we changed the date until June 12 at the morning dive so come on down and help us break the record...party afterward as well..Slate

I am tentatrively going to attend.
It's just a work thing for me, as to whether or not I can be there.
How about a show of hands as to who is going? Captain Slate, how many confirmed do you have at this point? I am assuming we will iron on one of the dives...are we doing two dives for this fun event?
The after party sounds great!
Hot dogs on a grill in the parking lot or catered affair?
