Scuba diving made the front page of the Wall St Journal today. Todays (10/1/03) WSJ had a front page article about the new sport of extreme ironing where people iron their clothes under extreme conditions ( on a tight rope, underwater, up a tree etc). The winners of these competitions give new meaning to the term "Ironman". The image that accompanied the article was a great underwater shot, of an "Ironman" in action. I didnt scan that image but heres a link to some Ozzie extreme athletes in action:

Any other photos of people engaged in this daredevil sport are welcome!

I would be hard pressed to get steamed under these conditions. I guess these would be "starch" supporters of scuba diving, or should we just view this as yet another wrinkle?

Scubaroo once bubbled...
That's Aussie, thankyouverymuch!
:D

Sorry mate! Ive seen Australians refer to themselves as Ozzies on other boards, so no offence was intended.

It could be much worse. Ive seen fellow Americans refer to themselves as Merkins on Yahoo boards. The term means a pubic hair wig!
Ozzies is flattering by comparison!Merkin definition
