I am curious about my new Viking extreme dry suit. After only diving in it 2 times(controlled, shallow)I am not used to the feeling. Should you feel the squeeze, the suit pinching the arms and legs? Or am I just not wearing enough insulation underneath. The insulation I am wearing is a fleece that is skin tight and thin. Or am I not inflating the drysuit enough? One note I am putting new seals on the wrists for the seals that are on there are about 2 inches too long. Could any one give me some Ideas to the feeling of Air inside the drysuit?

Yeah you should feel a slight squeeze, but it shouldn't hurt or feel uncomfortable. Just add enough air to alleviate the squeeze.

As for the seals, Bob3 would know more than I, but you may be able to simply cut 2" off each seal.

Good luck.

Your drysuit loves you....
Let it hug you and squeeze you....
But if it starts giving you hickeys all over....
Cool its passion with a blast of fresh air...

BTW....
Use your BC for Buoyancy Control....
That is to make up for the weight of the air in your tank....
Don't use you suit for a BC....
If you keep a big bubble of gas in your suit...
You are going to have trouble on ascent....
