Hi

Just returned from what was promised to be Tech liveaboard with Virgin wrecks if we where lucky.

well these boys delivered.
After a warm up day trip to show competance I was even lucky enough to see Reef sharks at Chumporn pinnicles I felt ready to go out exploring.

Day one consisted of easy wreck no current great vis max depth 55 to bottom over 3500 tonnes of history to dwell on a Thai naval vessel lost in a storm, this was a new wreck spotted several telegraphs in place.

Day two more history diving on Japanese marus just when i thought it couldnt get better TWO whalesharks joined me on the deco requirements.Awesome the real Ship addicts claimed they where a distraction from the real diving . I loved it.

Day Three Wreck hunting after one mark drew a blank I figured I would be out of luck two hours later I was pulling down the shot line to become the third diver to ever see a Japanese supply ship laying at 45 degrees with coral encrusted gun placements and outstanding marine life (the first two where the vessel owners who of course get both initial and bragging rights to the discovrey.

The food was fine the boat comfortable the characters on board truly knew there stuff.

I will be back for more as soon as work allows.

If you love wrecks and technical diving and want to be part of finding and rediscovering history. get in touch with the guys at MV Trident koh tao
