This trip is an extended voyage of exploration. We will sail a greater distance to get to virgin diving territory! Also, the capacity of the boat is reduced and more amenities are offered than a standard charter.
Our route will begin in Bali, with a short domestic flight to the island of Flores to embark Seven Seas. The itinerary will include known-quality sites around the Komodo area. We will then move off the usual grid to explore areas untouched by commercial diving operators. Some regions will never have been dived before. The route includes West Komodo, Gili Banta, the islands and sea mounts in the Sape Strait, South Komodo, South Padar, sea mounts in the strait between South Padar and South Rince, South Rinca itself, the Southern end of Selat Molo, North Sumba (depending on the weather), and the South side of Gili Motang. Since we are diving in the Coral Triangle, macro life is abundant. There will be many opportunities for big critters as well.
This trip is limited to 14 passengers to ensure guest comfort and a better diver-to-guide ratio (Seven Seas capacity is 16 passengers). Cabins have individual A/C and private bathroom. The boat is a wood hulled Bugese schooner, which is wonderfully stable and quiet. Liveaboard The Seven Seas, Bali, Indonesia - Boat Description Regular trip cost is $7445 per person, double occupancy, for the charter.
