I posted this in the DIY forum, but I thought I would hit it up here as well

Well, I was bored and thinking about diving. So, when you put the two those together you get time spent on unimportant things related to diving!

In my old PADI log book there was a section for summarizing your experiences. I kind of enjoyed it, it was a way to know my stats quickly after a set amount of dives. The new logs I got from PADI no longer have that summary, so I recreated it with my own ideas. It is 5.5 x 8 for the planner size logs, but you can change it.

If you have never used one of these before, it works well after a "milestone" dive, which is subjective to you. Personally, I do one of these every 20th dive...that takes me 2-4 months to hit...some of you will do that in a week so you may need to do 100-200. Obviously, if I go dive numbers 39,40,41,42, I would put it after 42 even tho 40 is the "20th" dive.

Like I said, this isn't all that important, but I love stats and I was bored, so use it if you like.

Thanks for sharing your Excel file.

I think you might like www.diverecord.com to keep track of all your dives as it will summarize them automatically by conditions, locations, equipment, etc.

I have been using it for a couple of months and I quite like it - but there is one thing I tried to figure out but I didn't manage so far, maybe you know!?
I'm trying to have a direct link to my diverecord-logbook, so that somebody can directly view my logbook instead of having to enter the "logbook ID" on the main page of diverecord.com.
Do you know of a way to do that??
