Two questions actually; what are the current airport exit fees? Has anyone been to Reef House Resort lately?

My wife and I were at The Reef House the second week of February. We had a smooth experience staying there. Ask away if there is something more specific you have questions about.

I recall the exit fee was just under $40 a person for a non-resident. They take cash or credit cards now days.

The Exit fees are the same for resident or non resident, you likely were confused with residents fees travelling witn the country or within
the four working together

I leave today (Saturday) after a 2 week stay at Reef House. I'll do up a trip report when I get back home. If you've got questions, please ask. I wouldn't hesitate to return to RHR, but I know what to expect.

Craig.

Thanks. We have been to Reef House twice so we know more or less what to expect. We have not been there since the management change and we have not seen any recent posts here on SB, so we were just making sure everything is under control there before we go for our 3rd time.

You can find the current departure fees at this link:

I believe if you pay with a credit card it is considered a cash advance so you may have extra fees from your credit card company for that. I have always paid in cash. I just put it in an envelope before I leave the US so I have it ready on the day of departure.

At one time you could pay your exit fee at the gas station judt outside of West End and svoid having to queue at the airport. I never remembered to try it. Does anyone have information innthis regard?

Davey, the "new" manager (and the owner's son) has made significant improvements and has things very much under control. My initial hesitation was around food quality, but that was quickly laid to rest. The dive operations will be as you remember them, with Davitt and Choco bringing their usual high energy, fun to be around, top-notch service. The most significant change is the color scheme of the property ... it has shifted from blue to yellow. You will not be disappointed.
