Uncle Pug:
That reminds me of the Edmonds Oil dock. Nice viz we're having, eh?

Thats what I was thinking, gotta go for another dive there one of these days...

Yeah, what is this with the viz, I was at cove 1 today and could see 20-25 feet in the good spots..... I have gotten so used to needing to be so close to my victims (Err students.... :) ) that I hit my face on their tanks that I don't know what to do with myself in this viz.

Great pics, may I ask where you took them? Looks somewhat familiar but.....

nice pics, mjh, as usual =)

those red things, are they starfish?

also... if that third picture gives a correct scale, they are HUGE

mjh:
I had not dove the Dock in a while, it was about the best viz I've experianced in a couple of weeks.
Very nice. Beautiful place with good vis on a sunny day. I really like the 20 minute safety stop back to shore.

I did this dive with OE2X and he spent about 90% of the dive on his back.

Uncle Pug:
Sunflower Starfish.... they are voracious predators and move quicker than you would imagine.

they sure look like they are zipping right up those pilings

it's like a race to see which one gets to the food first

so... do they eat those anemones(?) ? they don't seem to stand much of a
chance if the starfish are looking for them
