Have not used a warranty on scuba gear, but have had Ikeklite repair my strobe at no charge even though it was out of warranty (just a couple of months out of warranty). They told me it had a defective bulb so they replaced it, did some upgrades to the electronics and replaced the battery pack - all at no charge.

Was really pissed that it broke, but really happy with the service.
 
Depth gauge, ten months old (dive season interrupted by winter here :( and I don't ice dive) with a couple of dozen dives on it and never banged around or dragged on the ground AFAIK. (Not going to bang around breathing equipment, especially after paying good money for it!) LDS sent it back to the manufacturer and put in the new one.
