I personally dived either in liguria or in Sicily, all the others dives have been made in other states...
I'm thinking on going freshwater, if I have the time, this August. Do you know nice places around Milano?

If you never dive into river try to go in Ticino (Vallemaggia) There are two nice spots. Water is very clear but colt (± 8-9°C) and maximum depth is 14 m. There are trout and the shape of the stones are very nice. Any diving shop in Milano area should know the place. I have to ask the exact site as I do not remember the village name.

Lago Maggiore, Como o di Lugano are OK but visibility is bad, and there is not much too see.
 
Thank you for the infos. I'll go to my local shop in Milano and I'll ask them, as long as they're not already close for vacation!
