Another good place to go is to the person you trusted to teach you how to dive. Be wary of those that want to sell you the most expensive piece of equipment. Look for a dive shop that doesn't pay their employees commision on sales, they are usually more honest because they don't benefit monitarily on the sale. My advice, ask the pros.
