Equipment rental recommendations on Isla Mujeres?

I will be vacationing in Isla Mujeres soon and was wondering if anyone has specific recommendations or comments about the Dive Shops on the island. I am specifically interested in equipment rental for a few people in our group in order to do some casual shore diving on our own (and recommendations on where would be good places to do this while others in our group snorkel). Thanks!

Don't think you're going to have much success trying to shore dive, all diving I know of is by boat, also don't know of anyone who will rent tanks to you, but things might have changed since I've been there a couple of years ago.

I don't know about the shore diving but a first class place to get rental equipment and great small group boat dives is Casa del Buceo. Check with Pablo at Scuba Diving Isla Mujeres My Family will be going back for our third trip the last of October.
