Energy Drinks and Diving

I have a 5 hour drive home after diving in Key Largo. One small coffee before the dive, water on the boat before the dive, between dives and after the dive back to shore. Monster drink in the car on the drive back home.

I also usually will have a sudafed before the dive.

Works for me.

The human body can vary greatly from person to person. My brother drinks water like a horse. I'm more of a camel, and pretty much always have coffee before diving. Don't overthink it. If you like a red bull or monster before a dive go for it.
