Anyone got any pointers in this area, this is what I have a question about.

A former employer of mine contacted another former employer of mine and I know good things were not said, but I don't know what exactly said.

I do know that for would be employeers calling former employers all that can be pretty much said is if and when they worked there.

Any help here guys?

TIA

Sure, but I need more specifics. I ran a company for more than a decade and dealt with this stuff all the time.

Drop me a PM w/a phone number - I'll call 'ya. Specifics depend on the state to some degree, but there are common elements.

(Not a lawyer - just a guy who dealt with this a LOT)

Two former employers talk about you, and you don't know what is said.

Why do you even care?

Its a small world...Former employers of mine talk all of the time...I doubt that use up much bandwidth talking about me...

Unless you suffer ill will as the result of an untruth, why bother being worried?
