Soggy:
Does anyone have details on the profile/wreckage of the Empire Knight wreck (bow section)? How long a boat ride is it out of Kittery, ME?

I've seen the sidescan from the Klein Sonar site and the info on WreckHunter.

Googling, I saw something that said most of the wreckage is 40-70 fsw. Is that info accurate?

The diveable portion is a wreckage field strewn "all over the place". There are some large pieces. Personally, if I was to go back there again I'd be more interested in diving Boone Island Ledge rather than searching for pieces of a busted up ship.

It's a bit of a ride out there; memory is at least an hour boat ride. Add to that the skipper will probably reserve the right to take you to an alternate location, probably the Isles of Shoals. Boone Island is EXPOSED and if it turns crappy there is nowhere to hide. But it's "kinda neat" to see that lighthouse perched on a rock.

With what outfit were you planning on chartering?
