I've been running the 90° and 70°(?) fixed angle elbows from Dive Gear Express. Never any issues. I use them to fix hose tug issues. And I will even use them on the 7' hose as routing dictates them. I've been doing the under the arm routing for a decade now and it is my preferred routing.

Some places call them 110 degree, no idea what the actual angle is or from what side they measure it from, I find the slight angle is better than the 90 for my use.

I use the KM ones Tom mentioned. Whether 40", 5' or 7' I prefer the 70 degree ones. I've used the cheap ones as sold by DGX on and off for many years without issue, save an O ring that went bad on one.
