Soooooo.. has anyone tried a night dive at Venice? I have been pondering the idea of an evening dive there just for a change of pace and lack of boats racing over head - and for the spoookiness of it

A shore dive at night down there? I'd have to think about that one. The bulls are a little more aggesive at that time. Of cours eI wouldnt rule it out comepletley.

i kinda stopped reading at "the bulls are a little more aggresive at that time..."

funny, that...

I figure the best way to do one would be go an hour or so before sunset, do a dive get your readings and then repeat the same dive after dark. At least the first time. This will let you know how thew vis is before the night dive. Not only that but give you a dive plan that will get you back to shore without a problem. Trust your compass. It's all different in the dark.
