well, perhaps my *problem* is that I am using an AUL rather
than EE but ...

1) rotating the lid will not accomplish anything with my light.
the leads from the battery to the *lid* are connected just
before I pack it for transport. the switch is then taped.

2) i added an extension. no problems.

I'll check again but the jacks sit 180 from the switch so, now, the switch is away from my side and the jacks are up against my side.
Mike... the original post from Tom was about a Pro4...you must have a Pro6 or larger with the cord coming out of the center, right.

Way to go GM...
So quickly identifying the problem...
Now to correct it...

Yep. Slipped by me we have the 6 and the 14.

Tried it yesterday without the ACB system. This allowed the light to lay against my side and was much more stable this way. I got it turned on and off with no trouble.

Tom, if you need to used a weight belt you might want to try on of the flat kind that allow you to insert weight pouches... Shane tried one of the ones I have around here yesterday and really liked it.... I have been using one with my singles rig and like it as well.
