I have had a new EDGE Stealth 2 BCD for about a month now. It is my first step in the back inflate world, but it has sold me. This BCD is amazing, it has a ton of lift so I can go dry if I want, and it fits me great.

When I got it, I was amazed at the heavy duty feel of the material. I wasn't sure if I would like not having a cummerbun, but I don't even notice that its gone. This thing fits me great and I can't get over the feeling of freedom that I get (from not having the air wrap around me). The three dump valves (inflator dump, right shoulder, and right lower) are easy to reach. The Dumpable weight pouches are solid, but easy to remove with a sharp tug, while the 2 trim weight pockets are set in just the right places. I have seen some complain about it only having one D-ring, but I use a break away regulator necklace so I don't have that complaint.

In the water, like I said, i almost forget that I have it on. I was able to drop 2-4 lbs off my normal lead load. I found my trim was easier to set than with my old jacket style. I did notice that it does want to push me face down but, when I used 2 lbs in each pocket, I was able to stop that motion easily.

I have used the Stealth 2 for at least 7 dives now, including a Drysuit training class, and 2 dives with a 7mm full suit. I haven't had any complaints, other than I have gotten a good bit of water in when using the inflator, but I think that's opperator error.

All in all I love this BCD. the fact that I got it for less than most entry BCDs makes it even better. If you are looking for a new BCD, look at the Edge stealth 2. The features put it in the league with the $500-$600 BCDs bt at less than half the price.
