I had some fun filming echinoderms, sea cucumbers, to be precise.

I am shooting these videos with the Nikon Coolpix AW130, which is not worth much as a photo camera, in my opinion, but does surprisingly well as a video camera. I am still working on my technique as a recent stills-photo-crossover, mainly keeping the camera still is something I could improve.

I like to put edgy music with these videos.

This is a sea cucumber marching over the reef. Since most echinoderms are slow-moving animals, I like the time-lapse quite a bit.

The sea cucumbers have this odd habit, I think it's connected to respiration, see for yourself.

I LOVED LOVED LOVED the 1st video! I've never seen this sped up before or a close-up of one walking. The ones I see are always still. I even liked it on Youtube as well now.

The anus one...well. Since they obtain oxygen by pumping water through their anus I suppose it's cool, but a close-up of it for 55 secs? lol

I can't believe that I spent a minute watching a close up of an animal's anus opening and closing pumping stuff in and out. :rofl3:

I was considering posting it on Facebook, but then I thought I might get flagged for porn.

It has to have a good heading to go with it. :D
