Granted... I have never seen anyone get eaten by a shark but I have witnessed a woman snorkelling get run over by a boat - with the prop going from her butt all the way up her spine to her head. She was loaded into the boat and took her over to St. Thomas - I believe she survived...

I contacted PADI regarding that picture and it looks like it might be replaced. I was told the guy is laughing, but it sure looks like a death scream.
